ALPS Token
ALPS is AlpsCon's internal utility token. It is used solely to access the platform's functions.
You swap your USDC balance for ALPS in the AlpsCon web portal to take part in the AI Trade Hub. The rate is 1 USDC = 10 ALPS. The swap and all further steps only take place after you confirm them in the wallet you use.
ALPS is not a financial instrument and does not give rise to any claim to an increase in value, liquidity or earnings. ALPS is not a speculative token and cannot be traded on external exchanges.
USDC is a token and has no blockchain of its own; it is issued on existing blockchains. USDC can be transported not just on one blockchain but on many at the same time – Ethereum, Solana, BNB Smart Chain and others. Each of these versions is technically independent and exists separately from the others. So there is no “universal” USDC transfer – when sending, you always have to specify which blockchain it should go through. That is why you must always select the correct network that matches the destination wallet – otherwise you risk losing the coins.
AlpsCon only accepts USDC on the BNB Smart Chain (also called “BEP-20”). If you send USDC via another blockchain, it will not arrive at AlpsCon – instead it ends up on a network that AlpsCon does not read. Entering the wrong wallet address can lead to the loss of the coins.
Every transaction on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) – regardless of which token you transfer – requires a small network fee, just like on any other blockchain. On BSC this fee is always paid in BNB, the native currency of this blockchain. Without BNB in your wallet, no transaction can be carried out, even if you have enough USDC.
Imagine USDC as cargo traveling by train.
The train runs on the tracks of the BNB Smart Chain – the only line that leads to AlpsCon.
The train needs a ticket for the journey: a small network fee in BNB. Without this ticket – i.e. without BNB in your wallet – the cargo will not be sent.
These three smart contracts are required to operate the system and are involved in every transaction.
